We listen, act, and transform
* I am Accepting New Aetna Insured Clients In-person at New Horizons Counseling Center located at 7361 W. Charleston Blvd.
When suffering from struggles, or tough times it is easy to feel that you are alone. You are not alone. I want you to know that you are not broken, you are just stuck. I am here to help you build the psychological skills to handle painful thoughts, feelings, and memories more effectively; while clarifying what is truly important and meaningful to you, so you can take the action that enriches your life!
I am EMDR trained to help you re-process the trauma that is holding you back, and I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am passionate about helping clients heal from stressors related to trauma, depression, anxiety, stage of life transitions, injustice, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
In my work with couples, I have a deep understanding of the profound impact that trauma can have on relationships, I am dedicated to helping couples heal, rebuild trust, and create a strong foundation for a healthier future.
I provide a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples to address past experiences and work towards healing together.
Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, I guide couples through the process of healing and growth. They help couples develop effective coping strategies, improve communication skills, and rebuild a sense of safety and security within the relationship.
I believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with couples to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
I am dedicated to assisting clients on their pathway to peace. I look forward to the opportunity to become part of your journey.
*Please note: We want to service all clients regardless of financial circumstances. Affordability should never be a barrier to accessing care. Please ask about our sliding scale cash pay option available for those who may need it.
